Description

This International Standard specifies a method for the determination of the ash insoluble in hydrochloric acid, from residues (excluding compounded products) obtained by the extraction of oil from oilseeds by pressure or solvent.

Treatment of total ash with 3N hydrochloric acid solution and incineration of insoluble residue. Reagents, apparatus, procedure, expression of results, test report. Not applicable to purposes subject to the Fertilisers and Feeding Stuffs Regulations 1973 or to the Fertilisers and Feeding Stuffs (Amendment) Regulations 1976.
