Description

This Standard specifies an atomic absorption spectrometric method for the determination of the aluminium content in iron and steel, which employs electrothermal atomization.

The method is applicable to aluminium contents (mass fraction) in steel of 0.001 0 % or over up to and including 0.005 0 %.
