Historical Standard: Standard Practice for Styrene-Butadiene Rubber (SBR)ā€”Establishing Raw Mooney Viscosity Target Values

ASTM D5605

Scope

1.1 Mooney viscosity is a widely used measurement for rubber as defined in Test Method D1646 where the procedure for its measurement is specified.

1.2 This practice covers a means for producers and users of emulsion styrene-butadiene rubber (SBR) to establish common target values for the Mooney viscosity of these rubbers.
