Performance parameters include temperature repeatability, linearity and bias; and dimension change repeatability, detection limit, quantitation limit, linearity and bias.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"SectionLevel2\">\n<p class=\"subsec1\">1.2&nbsp;Validation of apparatus performance and analytical methods is a necessary requirement for quality initiatives. Results may also be used for legal purposes.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"SectionLevel2\">\n<p class=\"subsec1\">1.3&nbsp;The values stated in SI units are to be regarded as standard.
