Applies only to lifts for which a building authority having jurisdiction stipulates the provision of facilities for persons with disabilities; however, it does not apply to lifts in a private residence. <\/p>\n<p><b>Scope<\/b><\/p>\n<p> This Standard sets out requirements for facilities in passenger lifts that are specifically designed to assist persons with disabilities.
