It is limited to gaseous oxygen with a temperature range between \u00b022 \u00b0F and 400 \u00b0F (\u00b030 \u00b0C and 200 \u00b0C), pressures up to 3000 psi (21 MPa) and a dew point of \u00b022 \u00b0F (\u00b030 \u00b0C) or lower depending on local conditions. <br \/>&lt;br <\/p>\n<ul \/>\n<li>oxygen cylinder filling plants;<\/li>\n<li>medical oxygen piping installations; <\/li>\n<li>coldbox internal piping; <\/li>\n<li>oxygen compressor units; <\/li>\n<li>liquid compressor units; <\/li>\n<li>bulk oxygen facilities (liquid or high pressure gas) at the customer\u00b0s site up to the point where gas enters the distribution systems; or <\/li>\n<li>piping on specialized equipment and machines such as scarfing, jet piercing, etc. <\/li>\n<p> The purpose of this publication is to further the understanding of those engaged in the safe design, operation, and maintenance of gaseous oxygen transmission and distribution systems.
