It is written in SI (metric) units.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong>Scope<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>1.1<\/p>\n<p>This Standard describes minimum performance criteria for the service braking system, secondary braking system, and parking system for rubber-tired, self-propelled underground mining machines with maximum rated speeds of 32 kph or less and having a rated gross mass of 45 000 kg or less.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>1.2<\/p>\n<p>In this Standard, shall indicates a mandatory requirement; should indicates a recommendation, or that which is advised but not mandatory. Notes accompanying clauses do not include mandatory or alternative requirements. The purpose of a note accompanying a clause is to separate from the text explanatory or informative material that is not properly a part of the Standard.
