This standard describes the system of the assessment of conformity (factory production control, continuous surveillance, certification) in order to verify if the requirements for reinforcing steel bars, reinforcing steel in coils, reinforcing steel wire, welded fabric, lattice girders, specified in DIN 488-1 to DIN 488-5, are maintained by the manufacturer at the manufacturer's works.
