Description

This amendment is intended to clarify the scope of the Standard. The Standard specifies a horizontal method for enumeration of microorganisms growing in a solid medium after aerobic incubation at 30 degree C by pour plate techniques. The method is applicable to products intended for human consumption or for animal feeding stuffs, environmental samples in the area of food and feed production and handling and samples from the primary production stage.
