This Standard specifies table study lamps of rated voltage 100 V with LED module or fluorescent lamps, to provide light required for increasing the efficiency of visual works such as studying, and reading (hereafter referred to as "table lamps").
The scope of this Standard also includes table lamps using the DC power supply for the luminaire, along with the luminaire itself with the light source.
