The test method, which is applicable to most pharmacologically active compounds including pesticides, will properly rank order both acute lethality and potency with a minimum expenditure of test material. It is intended as the first step in a multi-tiered development program.<\/p>\n<p>1.2 <i>This standard does not purport to address the safety problems associated with its use.
