Scope<\/strong><\/p>\n

1.1 This accelerated test method is used to determine the relative resistance of steel pipeline coatings to penetration or deformation by a blunt rod under a specified load. The test method is intended to apply to the testing of all types of nonmetallic pipeline coatings subjected to various temperatures.<\/p>\n

1.2 The values stated in SI units to three significant decimals are to be regarded as the standard. The values given in parentheses are for information only.<\/p>\n
