{"id":269968,"date":"2024-10-19T18:05:02","date_gmt":"2024-10-19T18:05:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pdfstandards.shop\/product\/uncategorized\/bs-en-12285-22005\/"},"modified":"2024-10-25T14:11:21","modified_gmt":"2024-10-25T14:11:21","slug":"bs-en-12285-22005","status":"publish","type":"product","link":"https:\/\/pdfstandards.shop\/product\/publishers\/bsi\/bs-en-12285-22005\/","title":{"rendered":"BS EN 12285-2:2005"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This document specifies the requirements for metallic shop fabricated cylindrical, horizontal steel tanks, single and double skin for the aboveground storage of water polluting liquids (both flammable and non-flammable) within the following limits:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>from 800 mm up to 3 000 mm nominal diameter and,<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>up to a maximum overall length of 6 times the nominal diameter and,<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>for liquids with a maximum density of up to 1,9 kg\/l and,<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>with an operating pressure (<i>P<\/i><sub>o<\/sub>) of maximum 1,5 bar (abs.) and,<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>where double skin tanks with a vacuum leak detection system are used the cinematic viscosity of the stored media shall not exceed 5 \u00d7 10<sup>-3<\/sup> m<sup>2<\/sup>\/s.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This document is applicable for normal ambient temperature conditions (- 20 \u00b0C to + 50 \u00b0C).
