It is applicable to anaerobic adhesives capable of polymerizing on a steel surface in the absence of air (oxygen).<\/p>\n<p>The primary aim of this test is for ranking and quality control of anaerobic adhesives and reliance should not be placed on any test results for design purposes.<\/p>\n<p>Design data should preferably be obtained from tests using the construction materials and configurations used in the actual design.<\/p>\n<p>This test may be used for quality control of types of adhesives other than anaerobic, if considered suitable, provided that the curing conditions are defined.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>NOTE The titles of the publications referred to in this Part of BS 5350 are listed on inside back cover.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>A method for ranking and quality control purposes using a collar and pin assembly.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p><b>Methods of test for adhesives.
