{"id":333977,"date":"2024-10-19T23:16:58","date_gmt":"2024-10-19T23:16:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pdfstandards.shop\/product\/uncategorized\/bs-f-1542006\/"},"modified":"2024-10-25T22:14:18","modified_gmt":"2024-10-25T22:14:18","slug":"bs-f-1542006","status":"publish","type":"product","link":"https:\/\/pdfstandards.shop\/product\/publishers\/bsi\/bs-f-1542006\/","title":{"rendered":"BS F 154:2006"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This British Standard specifies requirements for fluorosilicone rubber material possessing excellent ozone resistance properties intended for the production of items such as sheet, mouldings and certain extrusions for use in sealing applications in contact with petroleum basedfuels, hydraulic fluids and lubricants and with silicone and certain ester based fluids over the temperature range \u201360\u00b0C to 150 \u00b0C<sup>1)<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<p>For applications in air the material is suitable over the temperature range \u201360\u00b0C to 180 \u00b0C.<\/p>\n<p>This material standard is tobe used in conjunction with BS EN 3207.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><i>NOTE 1 Material and products manufactured from this specification, when used in air, maybe used up to 200 \u00b0C forshort intermittent periods.<\/i><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<blockquote>\n<p><i>NOTE 2 Material and products manufactures from this specification are not intended for use in contact with phosphate esters.<\/i><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<blockquote>\n<p><i>NOTE 3 Further information on the suitability of fluorosiliconerubber for design applications can be found in SBAC Technical Specification No. 97 [1].<\/i><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<blockquote>\n<p><i>NOTE 4 Marking BS F 154:2006 on or in relation toa productrepresentsa manufacturer\u2019s declaration of conformity, i.e. a claim by or on behalf ofthe manufacturer that the product meets the requirements of the standard.
