{"id":350294,"date":"2024-10-20T00:41:32","date_gmt":"2024-10-20T00:41:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pdfstandards.shop\/product\/uncategorized\/bs-iso-iec-18013-42019\/"},"modified":"2024-10-26T00:27:20","modified_gmt":"2024-10-26T00:27:20","slug":"bs-iso-iec-18013-42019","status":"publish","type":"product","link":"https:\/\/pdfstandards.shop\/product\/publishers\/bsi\/bs-iso-iec-18013-42019\/","title":{"rendered":"BS ISO\/IEC 18013-4:2019"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This document describes the test methods used for conformity testing, that is methods for determining whether a driving licence can be considered to comply with the requirements of the <span class=\"std\"><span class=\"std-ref\">ISO\/IEC&nbsp;18013 series<\/span><\/span> for:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>machine readable technologies ( <span class=\"std\"> <span class=\"std-ref\">ISO\/IEC&nbsp;18013-2<\/span><\/span> ), and<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>access control, authentication and integrity validation ( <span class=\"std\"> <span class=\"std-ref\">ISO\/IEC&nbsp;18013-3<\/span><\/span> ).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The test methods described in this document are based on specifications defined in <span class=\"std\"><span class=\"std-ref\">ISO\/IEC&nbsp;18013-2<\/span><\/span> and <span class=\"std\"><span class=\"std-ref\">ISO\/IEC&nbsp;18013-3<\/span><\/span> and underlying normative specifications.<\/p>\n<p>This document deals with test methods specific to IDL requirements. Test methods applicable to (smart) cards in general (e.g. those specified in the <span class=\"std\"><span class=\"std-ref\">ISO\/IEC&nbsp;10373 series<\/span><\/span>) are outside the scope of this document.<\/p>\n<p>Hence the purpose of this document is to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>provide IDL implementers with requirements for conformity evaluation,<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>provide IDL issuing authorities with requirements for quality assurance, and<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>provide test laboratories and test tool providers with test suite requirements.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p><b>Personal identification.
