{"id":353346,"date":"2024-10-20T00:57:30","date_gmt":"2024-10-20T00:57:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pdfstandards.shop\/product\/uncategorized\/bsi-19-30365754-dc\/"},"modified":"2024-10-26T01:04:12","modified_gmt":"2024-10-26T01:04:12","slug":"bsi-19-30365754-dc","status":"publish","type":"product","link":"https:\/\/pdfstandards.shop\/product\/publishers\/bsi\/bsi-19-30365754-dc\/","title":{"rendered":"BSI 19\/30365754 DC"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This International Standard addresses:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>requirements for planning, executing and reporting the influence of user interaction on biometric system performance based on scenario test methodologies, considering three kinds of factors:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>Factors related to the design, position or condition of the capture device<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Factors depending on users and user attributes<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Factors depending on the interaction of users with the biometric system<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>specifications for the definition, establishment and measurement of conditions needed for evaluation, including that relating to equipment,<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>requirements for establishing a reference evaluation condition and target evaluation condition(s) to compare the influence of user interaction factors,<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>a specification of the biometric evaluation including requirements for test population, test protocols, data to record, test results, and<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>procedures for carrying out the overall evaluation.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This standard does not<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>determine which parameters should be analysed for a specific biometric modality. This is currently covered in 19795:2007<sup>[<\/sup><span class=\"xref\"><sup>1<\/sup><\/span><sup>]<\/sup>,<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>specify requirements to perform a vulnerability analysis modifying user interaction influence factors, or<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>include procedures for performing usability testing.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>It is important to differentiate between \u201cusability testing\u201d and \u201cuser interaction influence in performance\u201d. Usability testing relates to \u201cthe extent to which a product can be used by specified users to achieve specified goals with effectiveness, efficiency, and satisfaction in a specified context of use\u201d (<span class=\"std\"><span class=\"std-ref\">ISO\/IEC 9241-11:1998<\/span><\/span><sup>[<\/sup><span class=\"xref\"><sup>3<\/sup><\/span><sup>]<\/sup>). Usability testing involves the measurement of \u201chow usable\u201d a specific system or product is. Standards covering usability testing include to <span class=\"std\"><span class=\"std-ref\">ISO\/IEC TR 25060:2010<\/span><\/span>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p><b>BS ISO\/IEC 21472.
