This document describes good practices for the incineration and other organic matter treatment by thermal processes of sludges.<\/p>\n
Thermal conditioning is excluded.<\/p>\n
This document applies to sludges specifically derived from:<\/p>\n
storm water handling;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
night soil;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
urban wastewater collecting systems;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
urban wastewater treatment plants;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
treating industrial wastewater similar to urban wastewater.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
It includes all sludge that may have similar environmental and\/or health impacts but excludes hazardous sludge from industry and dredged sludge.<\/p>\n
