Scope<\/strong><\/p>\n

1.1<\/span> This specification covers performance requirements for computer-vision-based drowning detection systems for residential swimming pools.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

1.2<\/span> The devices described include systems that detect the potential for drowning and signal within 30\u2009s that a person is drowning or exhibiting a drowning behavior.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

\n

1.3<\/span> The devices shall provide indication of low visibility conditions to the users.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

\n

1.4<\/span> The devices shall not produce safety hazards by virtue of their connectivity.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
