This document specifies requirements and test methods for durability, strength, security and functionality of window fastener handles.
This document does not apply to the following hardware:
-
handles – primarily for Tilt and Turn, Tilt-First and Turn-Only hardware, refer to EN 13126-3 ;
-
sash fasteners, refer to EN 13126-14 ;
-
sliding closing devices, refer to EN 13126-19 .
The handles covered by this document do not have a spindle and the spur is primarily used to achieve the locked closed position.
