Description

This document provides an interoperability specification for a
network that supports the MSC Pool feature. This document contains
message procedures and formats necessary to obtain this
interoperability. Also, this release of the specification only
applies to the Legacy Mobile Station Domain (LMSD) network, both to
LMSD Step 1 per X.S0012 [2] and LMSD Step 2 per X.S0025
[3].

Purpose

The purpose of this document is to provide the architecture
(distribution of functions), protocols and procedures to support
the MSC Pool feature.
