Scope<\/strong><\/p>\n

\n

1.1<\/span> This standard covers solvents based on stabilized normal<\/span>-propyl bromide (n<\/span>PB) for use in vapor degreasing. The standard also includes a separate specification for technical-grade n<\/span>-propyl bromide.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

\n

1.2<\/span> Blends and azeotropic mixtures of stabilized n<\/span>PB for vapor-degreasing shall be blended from n<\/span>PB meeting the specification for technical-grade n<\/span>PB.<\/p>\n

Note 1:<\/span> Guide D3844<\/span>, Practice D4276<\/span>, and MNL22<\/span><\/span> provide additional important information on vapor degreasing and solvent properties.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
