{"id":284414,"date":"2024-10-19T19:15:04","date_gmt":"2024-10-19T19:15:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pdfstandards.shop\/product\/uncategorized\/bs-en-iso-221552013\/"},"modified":"2024-10-25T16:04:05","modified_gmt":"2024-10-25T16:04:05","slug":"bs-en-iso-221552013","status":"publish","type":"product","link":"https:\/\/pdfstandards.shop\/product\/publishers\/bsi\/bs-en-iso-221552013\/","title":{"rendered":"BS EN ISO 22155:2013"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This International Standard specifies a static headspace method for quantitative gas chromatographic determination of volatile aromatic and halogenated hydrocarbons and selected aliphatic ethers in soil.<\/p>\n<p>This International Standard is applicable to all types of soil.<\/p>\n<p>The limit of determination is dependent on the detection system used and the quality of the methanol grade used for the extraction of the soil sample.<\/p>\n<p>Under the conditions specified in this International Standard, the following limits of determination apply (expressed on the basis of dry matter):<\/p>\n<p>Typical limit of determination when using gas chromatography\/flame ionization detection (GC\/FID):<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>volatile aromatic hydrocarbons: 0,2 mg\/kg;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>aliphatic ethers as methyl tert-butyl ether (MTBE) and tert-amyl methyl ether (TAME): 0,5 mg\/kg.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Typical limit of determination when using gas chromatography\/electron capture detection (GC\/ECD):<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>volatile halogenated hydrocarbons: 0,01 mg\/kg to 0,2 mg\/kg.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Lower limits of determination can be achieved for some compounds by using mass spectrometry (MS) with selected ion detection (see Annex D).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p><b>Soil quality.
