{"id":311759,"date":"2024-10-19T21:25:51","date_gmt":"2024-10-19T21:25:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pdfstandards.shop\/product\/uncategorized\/bs-en-iso-21309-12019\/"},"modified":"2024-10-25T19:20:51","modified_gmt":"2024-10-25T19:20:51","slug":"bs-en-iso-21309-12019","status":"publish","type":"product","link":"https:\/\/pdfstandards.shop\/product\/publishers\/bsi\/bs-en-iso-21309-12019\/","title":{"rendered":"BS EN ISO 21309-1:2019"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This document establishes a system of designation for ethylene\/vinyl alcohol (EVOH) copolymer thermoplastic materials, which may be used as the basis for specifications.<\/p>\n<p>The types of ethylene\/vinyl alcohol (EVOH) copolymer plastic are differentiated from each other by a classification system based on appropriate levels of the designatory property:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>melt mass-flow rate;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>and on information about basic polymer parameters, intended application and\/or method of processing, important properties, additives, colorants, fillers and reinforcing materials.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This document is applicable to copolymers of ethylene and vinyl alcohol containing from 15&nbsp;mol&nbsp;% to 60&nbsp;mol&nbsp;% of ethylene. It applies to materials ready for normal use in the form of powder, granules or pellets, unmodified or modified by colorants, additives, fillers, etc.<\/p>\n<p>It is not intended to imply that materials having the same designation give necessarily the same performance.
