Data are considered from tests on concrete<br \/>\nrunways with freely-rolling yawed wheels for a range of Type VII<br \/>\n(bias ply) aircraft tyres, one Type VIII (radial-ply) aircraft<br \/>\ntyre, and a specialised tyre for a ground-test vehicle. Surface<br \/>\nconditions accounted for in the modelling range from dry, through<br \/>\ndamp, to flooded.
