{"id":690639,"date":"2024-11-06T05:22:52","date_gmt":"2024-11-06T05:22:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pdfstandards.shop\/product\/uncategorized\/tia-1121-007-12009-r2013\/"},"modified":"2024-11-06T05:22:52","modified_gmt":"2024-11-06T05:22:52","slug":"tia-1121-007-12009-r2013","status":"publish","type":"product","link":"https:\/\/pdfstandards.shop\/product\/publishers\/tia\/tia-1121-007-12009-r2013\/","title":{"rendered":"TIA-1121.007-1:2009 (R2013)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>INTRODUCTION<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>General Overview<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Session Control Plane contain the protocol used to negotiate<br \/>\na session between the access terminal and the access network.<\/p>\n<p>A session is a shared state maintained between the access<br \/>\nterminal and the access network, including information such as:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 A unicast address (UATI) and Paging Identifier (PagingID)<br \/>\nassigned to the access terminal,<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 the set of protocols used by the access terminal and the<br \/>\naccess network to communicate over the air-link, and<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 configuration settings for these protocols (e.g.,<br \/>\nauthentication keys, parameters for Connection Layer and MAC Layer<br \/>\nprotocols, etc.)<\/p>\n<p>During a single session the access terminal and the access<br \/>\nnetwork can open and close a connection multiple times; therefore,<br \/>\nsessions will be closed rarely, and only on occasions such as the<br \/>\naccess terminal leaving the coverage area or such as prolonged<br \/>\nperiods in which the access terminal is unavailable.<\/p>\n<p>The Session Control Plane contains the following protocol:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Session Control Protocol: This protocol provides the means to<br \/>\nprovision the protocols used during the session, and negotiates the<br \/>\nconfiguration parameters for these protocols.
