This document is an<br \/>\nextension of OSA API, per latest 3GPP TS 29.198 series<br \/>\nspecifications capabilities to enable operation in cdma2000\u00aesystems<br \/>\nenvironment as part of the TIA\/EIA\/IS-2000 family of standards.<br \/>\nThey are in alignment with 3GPP2 Stage 1 requirements and Stage 2<br \/>\narchitecture defined in [17], [18] and [19]. These requirements are<br \/>\nexpressed as additions to and\/or exclusions from the Release 5<br \/>\nspecification of the 3GPP TS 29.198 series. The information given<br \/>\nhere is to be used by developers in 3GPP2 cdma2000\u00ae network<br \/>\narchitecture to interpret the 3GPP OSA<br \/>\nSpecifications.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The OSA specifications define an architecture that enables<br \/>\napplication developers to make use of network functionality through<br \/>\nan open standardized interface, i.e. the OSA APIs. These APIs are<br \/>\napplicable to the 3GPP2 network architecture described in [17],<br \/>\n[18] and [19].<\/p>\n<p>The 3GPP TS 29.198 series specifications are included as a<br \/>\nreference.
