It<br \/>\nincludes a set of CP items or procedures for basic operation. A CP<br \/>\nis a conformance test consisting of set of pre-conditions and input<br \/>\nparameters that result in an expected output from a Unit Under<br \/>\nTest. The CP nomenclature provides an independent conformance test<br \/>\nnumbering system that is unique with this Standard and not<br \/>\ndependent on the paragraph, clause, or subclause numbering used in<br \/>\nthe document.The CPs are:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 CP 1 \u2013 Voice Channel Procedures<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 CP 1.1 \u2013 Assigned VCH Initial Access Procedures<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 CP 1.2 \u2013 Assigned VCH Maintenance Procedures<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 CP 1.3 \u2013 Assigned VCH Termination Procedures<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 CP 1.4 \u2013 Assigned VCH Message Trunking Call Continuation<br \/>\nProcedures<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 CP 1.5 \u2013 Assigned VCH Pre-emption Procedures<\/p>\n<p>This document is intended for use by manufacturers to serve as a<br \/>\nstandard reference for verifying adherence to the MAC protocol as<br \/>\ndescribed in [R1], as a means of assisting manufacturers in the<br \/>\ndevelopment of interoperable TIA102 series equipment, and as a<br \/>\nmeans of assisting manufacturers in the diagnosis of<br \/>\ninteroperability issues, should they occur. This document is not<br \/>\ndesigned for use as a functional test suite.
